Nagar Kirtan dedicated to the sacred Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji reached Sapniyan De Ghar on 25-01-2026. The holy presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji blessed our courtyard with its sacred footsteps. There was immense enthusiasm among all family members. On this auspicious occasion, every member of the household humbly presented themselves before Waheguru Ji, offering prayers, supplications, and heartfelt requests.
Having the divine darshan of the flower-adorned Palki Sahib filled our hearts with deep spiritual peace. As a service to the Sangat, tea and pakoras were served as Langar, which was partaken with devotion by both the Sangat and family members. Respected elders and esteemed guests were honored with Siropas. The Dhadi Singhs uplifted and inspired the Sangat by narrating Gurmat history and tales of martyrdom.
Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji was a great saint, social reformer, and a leading figure of the Bhakti movement in the 15th century. He raised his voice against casteism, discrimination, and social inequality. Through profound teachings such as “If the mind is pure, the Ganges is within the water pot,” he conveyed the message of humanity, equality, and righteous conduct. His sacred Bani is included in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, which stands as a testament to his greatness.
Guru Ji’s life teaches us that true service to humanity is possible only through truth, hard work, and devotion.
